Welcome to the first Euroguidance Network conference to connect European guidance professionals!

The Euroguidance Network warmly welcomes you to an international conference for guidance professionals on the 30th of November 2022 in Prague and online. In a one-day event we will reflect together on European tools, frameworks, and practices, as a means of building competences for the future. The Euroguidance conference is part of the Global Careers Month.

Around 500 participants are expected to join this first ever Euroguidance Network conference. The event will provide online, onsite and hybrid opportunities to learn and network.

A celebration of the Euroguidance Network anniversary

“It is a wonderful occasion to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the network with guidance practitioners from around the world. The conference will highlight good practices and raise awareness of the free resources provided by Euroguidance, among others. We are excited to host a panel of experts who will be addressing how European Partnerships in Lifelong Guidance can support guidance professionals in competence development”, says Eva Baloch-Kaloianov, Chair of the Euroguidance Network.

The programme offers many opportunities to familiarize yourself with themes and projects from different countries; listening to discussions and presentations, as well as participating in workshops and poster session conversations. The range of subjects is broad, varying from mobility opportunities to themes such as inclusion or growing insecurity.

A great chance to network with international colleagues

Anne Kärki (Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, Finland) has been working in a multinational Erasmus+ partnership project focused on digital and inclusive career guidance that will be presented at the conference. “We want to highlight the guidance professionals’ needs for support and for easy-to-use tools and training. The conference enables wider networking and dissemination of the results of our project”, Anne says.

The free-of-charge event welcomes everyone interested in lifelong guidance to join in. Registration will be open until 21 November. Please note that online participants are also required to register.
